This weekend, Lake Bluff is holding its annual art show, 10-5 on Saturday and Sunday, with lots of music, food and artwork. For more info, check out their site at www.artistsonthebluff.org
Friday, 22nd, CJ Arthur’s in Wilmette has a terrific guitar player, John McHugh.
Also on Friday, Viper Alley in beautiful Lincolnshire has a good John Cougar Mellenkamp cover band, Mellencougar, followed by 1969 which plays music from that wonderful era.
Mount Prospect Summer Block Party is this Saturday. Hip Pockit plays from 7 to 8:30pm. The Block Party is located in Prospect Heights at the intersections of Camp McDonald Road and Elm. For more info call the park district, (847) 394-2848.
